CertifiedStreams™, the ambitious project led by Jamaican-based Institute of Cultural Policy and Innovation, finally announced a much-anticipated launch date of June 3rd, 2022.

Led by premier ethnomusicologist Dr. Dennis Howard, CertifiedStreams™ currently monitors 1200+ terrestrial radio stations, 22 streaming platforms, and 500+ online music hubs.

It publishes four weekly charts, namely, Jamaicatop40.com, Caribbeantop40.com, Dancehalltop40.com, and Reggaetop40.com, which its press release states "Gives music professionals worldwide a data driven birds eye view of the regional music industry."

In the last 12 months, the project has seen an average online audience of 34,000 - 45,000 per weekly issue, with the Caribbeantop40 publication noted as its most popular currently, with just over 50,000 weekly readers.

On June 3rd, the company will expand its reach with a regionally focused music sales certification program, closely grafted to industry juggernauts RIAA, Billboard and UK Charts.

However, this programme focuses on Spotify streams exclusively, and according to the Certifiedstreams.com website, there are three regional recognitions based on three milestones:

Silver = 250K Spotify Streams in 30 Days of Release

Gold = 500K Spotify Streams in 45 Days of Release

Platinum - 1.5 Million Spotify Streams in 90 Days of Release

Awardees will be highlighted in the CertifiedStreams™ official website with hints of a very glitzy plaque similar to the Youtube Award teased in the company's press release.

"The recognition is free, and artists, labels, and producers may order a plaque for display at a nominal cost," stated Dr. Howard.

On its website, Certifiedstreams.com states that productions submitted or noted for a Certifiedstreams™ award must be performed and/or produced by professionals residing within the Caricom region.

Submission is free, simple and easy.

If a submission has met the full criteria, a verification email will be sent within 48-72 hours.

Successful submissions are then placed on a dedicated, perpetual web page display in their respective categories in the CertifiedStreams™ digital "Hall Of Fame".

The option to purchase a very impressive custom display plaque with door to door shipping is available anytime the awardee chooses.

Visit its official website at certifiedstreams.com for more information on this exciting new opportunity for Caricom based music professionals.
