Caribbean-based music metrics service CertifiedStreams.com has revealed its list of Jamaican Dancehall's Top 10 Performers for 2022.
The list is compiled based on the content engagements generated by 572 Jamaican artists "recognized professionally" in the global mainstream, from which the top10 artist have been data dropped.
Over the course of the last ten months, CertifiedStreams™ has monitored 22 streaming patforms, 1200+ Terrestrial Radio Stations, 4 social media platforms and 500+ online presences to compile the final Top 10.
Reggaeologist Lloyd Laing commented on the list via twitter stating...
"The credibility of the list is not based on the people choice, or a peer review, and as such provides a balanced viewpoint, and that's a good thing for the Jamaican music space which has been blindsided by Covid."
