In 2019, at the fresh age of 16, Trinidadian budding entertainer Coutain declared that he wanted to become a force to contend with in the Caribbean Region.
Fast forward three years later and the young bubbling teen with the aspiration of being Trinidad's next comedic actor is now fully "Trinibad", a status he sealed in the spring of 2021, with the single "Trinibadian".
Now 19 years old, the emerging talent from the northeastern town of Sangre Grande on the Trinidad mainland has recently released the sequel to his G Syde EP project which he kicked off with the "G Syde Tape" in January 2022.
The 6 track EP "G Syde Tape Pt2" which dropped on the 3rd of June 2022, is already making an impact in its opening weekend, with two debuts on the 15th issue of the weekly Caribbean Top40 Chart powered by certifiedstreams.com.
Debuting at #4 on this week's listing is Coutain's collab "Nuh Basic" featuring fellow emerging talents Brooklyn Decent and Yung Bredda, both of who can be regarded as some of the T&T talents that have emerged as persistent potentials with mainstream potential to watch in 2022.
Coutain completed his inaugural double debut with the single "Konfession" grabbing the ninth spot just ahead of Skeng's "23" which closed the top 10 listing on this week's Caribbean Top40 music chart.
