Jamaican singer and songwriter Tessanne Chin has been quietly preparing for her comeback since the summer of 2022, starting with the release of the ballad "Earth Wind Fire" produced by Smart Move. Now, she has followed up with the song "Surreal," produced by Natural High, which debuted on the Reggae Global Top40 chart last week at #3 and peaked on The US Itunes chart at #16.

Tessanne has had a successful career in Jamaica prior to her appearance on the fifth season of The Voice.

Tessanne began her career as the lead of the rock-reggae group Mile High, and later joined another band for a worldwide tour.

In 2007, she released her hit single "Hideaway" which kickstarted her solo career.

She went on to release several collaborations and an indie album in 2010. Her participation in The Voice saw her winning the competition, with Jacquie Lee as runner-up.

Following the competition, she released the winning song "Tumbling Down" and her first album for the label, "Count on My Love" in July 2014.
