Blvk H3ro: Taking the US by storm
Blvk H3ro, a Jamaican musician, has taken the US music scene by storm since his emergence on the East coast in 2022. He has collaborated with a variety of artists and even became the first Jamaican artist to be nominated for a Grammy Global Performance award in 2023. Blvk H3ro's quirkiness has won him many fans, and he will be taking the stage at the 2023 SXSW Caribbean Stage hosted by Iza Island Wave on March 17th.

Blvk H3ro has been making waves in the U.S. music scene since his emergence on the East coast last summer. The St. Thomas native, who honed his early skills at Jamnesia, has been embraced by the US music fraternity, and it's easy to see why.
Blvk H3ro burst onto the scene in 2021, taking radio by storm with his musical partner Wayne J. He followed this up with a string of solo singles, collaborating with a variety of artists along the way. This methodology paid off in 2023, when he became the first Jamaican artist to be nominated by RIAA for a Global Performance Grammy award alongside Ghanian superstar Rocky Dawuni.
Blvk H3ro's star has continued to rise, and he's been rubbing shoulders with a who's who of celebrities.
He's even shared a spliff with Paul McCartney!
Blvk H3ro's quirkiness has won him many fans, even among those who were initially skeptical of his style.
On March 17th, Blvk H3ro will add another feather to his cap when he takes the stage at the 2023 SXSW Caribbean Stage hosted by Iza Island Wave.
He'll be joined by fellow Reggae revivalist Mortimer, as well as Ahnanse, Jimmy October, Freetown Collective, and Kalpee.
Iza Island Wave is the platform behind the 1st Official Caribbean Stage at both SXSW and Music Matters Singapore.
They provide funding for Caribbean artists to showcase their talent on an international stage, and create spaces on stages that might not otherwise have catered to Caribbean artists.
Blvk H3ro's journey from St. Thomas to the US music scene has been a whirlwind of moments, and it's clear that he's just getting started. With his unique sound and infectious personality, Blvk H3ro is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
