Jamaican Born St. Kittian, Byron Messia is currently riding a big wave of popularity heading into summer 2023.

At just 23 years old, this Caribbean sensation has been in the urban music industry spotlight since the breakout of the single, "Talibans," which has quickly caught the attention of audiences worldwide.

Byron has been basking in the spotlight and has been quick to capitalize on this recognition in major music markets across the globe.

The rising star has claimed the top spot on the Dancehall Global Top 40 chart for the fourth time this year, and as a testament to his dominance, two more of his singles have also secured positions in this week's Top 10 heavyweight rankings.

"Talibans," the chart-topping track, has amassed nearly 4 million streams on Spotify and a remarkable 20 million streams on YouTube.

However, it has yet to make a significant impact on major radio stations in the continental United States.

Byron's other singles, such as "90z" and "I Hate Byron," have effectively dispelled any notion of him being a "one-hit wonder."

He recently returned home to a hero's welcome before preparing for a slew of heavy hitter summer engagments that are making increasingly apparent that this season could serve as a launching pad for one of the brightest stars in the global Dancehall scene.
