The Caribbean music scene is a jungle of talent, and with every step along the path of its vast construct, you will find hidden gems along the way that are to be shared with the world.

Lannlord, the Jamaican born artist, has taken the time to carve out his own space in the Reggae fusion music ecosystem with his own unique blend of Reggae and Hip-hop that is slowly, but surely, carving out a niche for this rising talent in the digital music paradigm.

Haling stalwarts such as Beres Hammond, Sean Paul, Vybz Kartel and female Hip-hop official Nicki Minaj as musical magnets of inspiration, his journey has not been overnight.

With his humble beginning in the rural Jamaican community of Rockhall, nestled in the hills of St. Andrew, the budding talent would find himself center stage at school events, and this encouragement would create a lifelong affinity with Reggae and Dancehall music that he continues to embrace to this day.

Shortly after migrating to the US in the early '90s, he was exposed to Hiphop, and this influence would push the talents soundscape even further, and by the time he graduated from high school in New Jersey, the burgeoning talent had carved out a space for himself in his stateside hometown, with what he has branded as "ReggaeHiphop", a grain along the line of Reggae fusion with a grimy dancehall finish, that keep his release relatable for audiences at home and aboard.

After building his resilience over years of trials, Lannlord took the step in 2018 to emerge from the underground with his debut single "Like Dat", and in short order grabbed the attention of Reggae/Dancehall Fans outside of his comfort zone of The Tri-State and into new regions such as UK, Canada, Netherlands, and African States such as Ghana, Nigeria, and Tanzania.

Consistently maintaining his pace with a series of minor and major releases during the pandemic, Lannlord has been ready, waiting, and very prepared to cut new roads, in new spaces for his music in 2022.
