The fast-rising Dancehall artist Valiant has made his mark over the last few weeks, proving his consistency in an increasingly crowded market.
A viral break on social media triggered the release of a series of singles that have become rapid-fire hits across the Caribbean.
But his controversial release, "Dunce Cheque" has become Valiant's most successful song to date.
The single released on November 2nd 2022 by Musiqukrecords has reached number one on Apple Music in ten countries.
These include Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Guyana, St. Lucia, Antigua & Barbuda, Turks and Caicos, Grenada, St. Kitts & Nevis, and St. Vincent & The Grenadines.
In North America, the single reached #16 on the Apple Music Reggae Chart in the US, and #12 in Canada.
On Spotify the single has already crossed 200K streams in less than 30 days while racking up an impressive 3.4 Million Youtube views for the official video.
